Baby Monitor app good for
We use this all the time and it has never failed us. You can set the sensitivity of the mic so you it can alert you the second your baby makes the slightest peep. We have not had any need to invest in a Baby Monitor - this works perfect for us and is great for travelling. Highly recommend!!
Great app! Perhaps the most useful one on my phone. It helped my son the sleep peacefully upstairs while we celebrated New Year with the in-laws downstairs, rather than him having to try and sleep in a noisy, bright room.
This is a great application for limited use, and not for your sole way to monitor your baby. We use this when we travel, and its awesomely handy. Thanks!
we forgot our Baby Monitor while visiting some friends and this app did a good job of notifying us when the baby was up in a pinch. texts you which means a slight delay, but no more than a minute or so. of course, you are without your phone while it is monitoring the baby, but thats to be expected.
My wife and I had to do some yardwork outside and the Baby Monitor didnt go that far. So I decided to buy this app and once the baby started making noises my wife got the call and took care of him. Great app. My only suggestion would to have the option for the iphone to go into speaker phone mode so that if need be the user of the other phone could talk to the child.
I placed the phone close to my boy, it called my wife when he woke up. Not sure why others had problems but we did not.
Some bad moments
I had the version before this and when I downloaded the new one it stopped working
This app froze my phone. Then I lost it huge waste of $5. And it didnt even work.
Everything was fine until they made the update that it texts you, terrible idea, know I dont hear my baby cry and its useless!!!!
Everyone else has said it already, but I wish I hadnt updated my phone because now it only sends a text message to alert you if it detects noise, not very helpful, especially when your husbands phone doesnt have SMS capability.
PLEASE FIX THE GLITCH.
App looks great and functions perfectly except for the last step: when it detects baby noise and begins to make the call, you are given a prompt to confirm the call. Obviously, since you arent there, you cant confirm it and the call doesnt get made. Could be a new firmware issue but regardless, its a fail.
I cant use this with my house phone now that it will only send SMS messages. I want my money back.
